Dazzle is just like one of the family! She is sooo sweet and is Miss Manners!
She came in and was very scared, nervous, and shy. Within days, she was greeting us at the door, laying around in the living room with all of us, and wanting love, petting, and attention! She is still not a confident dog, but we work on that daily. We are very careful to not be loud, make sudden moves, or do things that will frighten her. She comes out of her shell and trusts us more and more every day.
She gets along with SmokeUm (our other greyhound) And Katie (our Cairn terrier) perfectly. She really likes having the other dogs around, they seem to calm her. She doesn't prefer one dog over the other, so she would do fine in a greyhound home or a home that has another breed of dog...she just enjoys any 4 legged company!
She sleeps in a soft sided crate, and is crated while we are at work. Otherwise, she is out with our dogs to roam the house! She has never had an accident in our home! She eats well, with no problems. The only thing we have to watch is what she picks up in her mouth...everything tends to go there! : )
She likes having a routine and knowing what to expect, she does really well on a schedule. She doesn't cry or whine, she's very quiet. She will sleep til 7 or so, which is really good for a greyhound!
Dazzle is such a welcome guest, we love having her in our home as our beloved foster dog. She is beautiful inside and out, and needs a home where she will feel safe and secure and know that she is loved and feels that she can trust you.
